Green Care

About Green Care

At midday the water at McLeod Lake throws light back up onto Weber Point, and the grass down there takes the full weight of a valley sun. Green Care works lawns across the city with that heat in mind — mowing at a height that lets turf shade its own roots, edging, trimming, weeding the beds, and clearing every clipping off the hardscape. Stockton asks a yard to survive hundred-degree Julys and standing rain in January, and both get handled the same way: regular attention, nothing skipped. The satisfaction is watching a lawn hold its color through a month when little else does. Around here, green is closer to a verb than a color.
