For about two weeks in February the orchards east of town go white, and Stockton drives out toward Linden just to see almond bloom against a gray sky. Forevergreen Aguijaross works the yards on that side of the city, keeping lawns cut and edged, shrubs shaped, beds weeded and mulched, and the clippings hauled off. A mild valley winter means the grass barely pauses, so the route runs nearly year round and tightens as spring pushes growth. The pride is in the small finish work — the trimmed circle around a mailbox post, the clean line where turf meets the drive. Petals blow through in spring, get swept up, and the yard goes on looking kept.
