About Jordan-Slate Earthwork, Inc.

In spring the Tule River comes down out of the high Sierra cold and loud, tumbling over granite past Springville while Highway 190 winds up the canyon toward the big trees. Jordan-Slate Earthwork, Inc., a company named for working the ground itself, brings lawn care to this foothill town. Grass is mowed and trimmed, edges are cut neat, and the yard is cleared so the ground looks tended rather than surrendered to the hills. Foothill summers bake hard and long here, and a lawn in good trim come spring has a running start on the heat. There is honest pride in ground well cared for.
