Nate's Saw & Mower

About Nate's Saw & Mower

Just east of Sonora, out where the old mill town of Standard sits under the pines, the mornings come in sharp enough to see your breath well into spring. Nate's Saw & Mower is out in that cold air with the deck set and the engine warm, cutting lawns across town and along the roads that climb toward the timber. Mowing, trimming and edging carry the week; the cuttings and the drifted debris go with them at the end. A machine that runs right leaves a cleaner cut, and a cleaner cut is the difference between a lawn that looks mowed and one that looks kept. Nothing fancy in that — just a straight line held all the way to the fence.
