God's Grace Handyman

About God's Grace Handyman

On a Sunday morning the bell at the Red Church carries all the way down the top of Washington Street, and Sonora takes its time waking up. God's Grace Handyman keeps yards along those same blocks and the lanes climbing away from them — mowing, trimming and clearing what a week of foothill wind and dry leaves leaves behind. The work is unhurried and specific: grass cut to one height, edges run true along the concrete, the walk swept clean before anybody packs up. Homes here sit on odd little terraces cut into the hillside, so every lawn asks for something slightly different, and each one gets it. The reward is simple — a yard that looks settled, and a neighbor with one less thing on the list.
