About Green Giant Landscape Design

Sonoma's old valley oaks throw a shade you can feel ten degrees of, and the lawns beneath them grow in patches of sun and shadow that no two yards share. Green Giant Landscape Design reads that as it mows — height set for the dry season, passes laid to keep the shaded grass thick, trimming worked carefully around trunks and root flares. In midsummer, when the hills have gone the color of straw, a well-kept lawn is the greenest thing on the street, and that contrast is worth the effort. The finish lives in details: a defined line along the driveway, clean borders at every bed, clippings off the concrete. Yards in this valley look their most alive when someone tends them on a rhythm, and holding that rhythm is what this is.
