About Arborist Crew Services

Somis is ranch country — lemon and avocado on the slopes above the Las Posas Valley, eucalyptus windrows standing like fences against the afternoon breeze off the coast. Arborist Crew Services works in that landscape, where a tree is often part of somebody's living and pruning happens on the tree's schedule rather than the calendar's. Tree health gets read first: what the leaves are saying, how the bark looks at the flare, whether last season's cut closed the way it should have. Care here can be one well-placed thinning that lets sun down an orchard row, or years of patient shaping around a farmhouse. When a tree is past keeping, removal is done neatly, with the ground left open for whatever goes in next.
