TRM Turf & Hardscapes

About TRM Turf & Hardscapes

A string line, a level, and a wheelbarrow of decomposed granite: most of the north end of Solana Beach gets made out of exactly that, one measured piece at a time. TRM Turf & Hardscapes works the spring stretch when the ground is still soft from the rains and the salt wind off the water near Tide Beach keeps everything cool enough for real labor. Walkways and low walls go in first, grades are set so rain moves where it should, then turf is laid and rolled until the seams disappear. From there it is upkeep, mowing, edging along every hard surface, keeping the lawn fed and thick through the long dry months ahead. Kneeling to check a paver against the line is small, slow work, and it is what separates a yard that lasts from one that settles.
