About Geoff Smith Landscaping, Inc.

Winter on the far north coast arrives off the Pacific in long gray bands, and the Smith River runs high and jade-colored to the sea beside the town that shares its name. Geoff Smith Landscaping, Inc. tends lawns in country where the yearly rain is counted in feet and the grass rarely gets a true rest. Between storms a yard is mowed, edged and cleared of the branches and debris the wind leaves behind, so it never slides into shagginess. When the clouds part and a low sun strikes the wet grass, the whole lawn shines. Keeping pace with land this green is its own kind of craftsmanship.
