Weed Abatement Brush Clearing

About Weed Abatement Brush Clearing

By May the grass on the slopes above Las Llajas Canyon has gone gold and light as paper, and the whole valley starts counting toward the dry end of the year. Weed Abatement Brush Clearing spends that stretch cutting it back — mowing and clearing vacant lots, opening defensible space around structures, taking down heavy brush and overgrowth on ground far too steep for a lawn mower. Hillside parcels, fence lines, the strip behind a back wall that nobody can reach: that is the job. Cleared ground reads plainly from the road, and it reads plainly from the ridge as well. When the first hot wind of fall comes through, it is a good thing to have already done.
