Escalante Tree Service

About Escalante Tree Service

By August the Simi Hills have gone the color of a paper bag, and the only real shade on a side street is whatever the oaks and sycamores have been allowed to keep. Escalante Tree Service prunes with that in mind — opening a crown enough to let the heat out, keeping weight off the long horizontal limbs that summer likes to test. Along the Arroyo Simi, where roots find water the rest of the valley never sees, trimming becomes a yearly conversation rather than a single cut. Removals happen when a tree is finished, and the work ends with the ground raked flat and no sawdust drifting on the sidewalk. When a storm comes down out of the Santa Susana Pass and lays branches across a driveway, cleanup is the whole job: hauled out, cleared, gone.
