About Finster Services

Winter in Shafter arrives as tule fog — mornings when the whole San Joaquin Valley disappears into white and a lawn three houses down is only a rumor. Finster Services keeps working through it, because grass in this mild climate never fully stops and neither should its care. Winter cuts, cleanup after the wind, edges maintained so that when the fog lifts at noon the yard underneath is in order. There is something satisfying about a lawn that emerges from a whiteout already squared away. By the time the valley sun reclaims the afternoon, the work is finished and the green is the first color the day gets back.
