About Palucho'sGardening

Some Seaside mornings the air is so wet that the hedges drip without a drop of rain having fallen, and the back lanes stay dim until well after breakfast. That is good weather for hand work, and hand work is what Palucho'sGardening does best — kneeling in the beds, pulling weeds while the soil is soft, shaping shrubs by eye rather than by clock. Mowing and edging happen too, of course, but the character of the job lives in the smaller gestures: a border cleaned out, a plant given its space back, a walkway swept at the end. Gardens in this climate grow forgivingly and steadily, and they reward whoever keeps showing up. Palucho'sGardening keeps showing up, in Seaside and the towns around it.
