About Birchfield Gardening
By October the sycamores around Preisker Park go the color of old paper, and the north side of Santa Maria fills with leaves that never quite know when to stop falling. It makes for honest work: rake, blow, cut, and do it again next week. Birchfield Gardening handles the mowing and edging along with those long autumn cleanups, keeping turf open to the light while the days shorten. There's something worth doing in a lawn that stays sharp through leaf season instead of vanishing under it. The route covers Santa Maria and the streets running out toward the valley's northern edge.
