Bergbauer Landscape

About Bergbauer Landscape

Some mornings the coast sends its fog up over the Cuesta Grade, and it slides down into Santa Margarita like slow water until the blue oaks stand in it to their knees. Bergbauer Landscape works in that hush — mower engines the first sound of the day, edges cut while the grass is still beaded. This is a small ranch town, and its yards sit against big country, so tidiness here reads twice as clearly. Hedges get squared, weeds get evicted, and lawns get fed for the long dry stretch that always comes. By late morning the fog is gone toward Atascadero, and the day's work already looks the way it will at dusk.
