About Precision Turf and Stone

Fog crosses the Westside before the sun does, beading on every blade until a whole yard looks silvered. Precision Turf and Stone works Santa Cruz lawns in that hour, mowing, edging and trimming while the marine layer still holds the heat off the grass. By the time the light clears the ridge and the bay turns from gray to blue, there is a line along the walk you could set a ruler against. Fertilizing, overseeding and seasonal cleanups keep the turf even through the long rainless stretch from June to October. It is a plain sort of satisfaction: a clean crosscut, a swept curb, a lawn that reads as tended from the sidewalk.
