About Ken Brown's Yard Care Services

Twin Lakes in late afternoon: tide out behind Schwan Lake, shadows stretching across the yards on the streets between the beach and Soquel Avenue. Ken Brown's Yard Care Services closes out its days here — mowing, edging, trimming, raking beds down clean, then hauling the pile off instead of leaving it stacked. Coastal lots run sandy and salt-touched, so hedges want regular shaping and lawns want a consistent cut rather than a hard one. Fall cleanups clear the beds ahead of the rain; spring cleanups catch up with what the rain set loose. A hedge cut level along a fence line holds that shape for weeks, and it shows every single day in between.
