Late light along Pleasure Point turns the whole eastside amber, and the lawns hold it for about twenty minutes before the marine layer slides back over the cliffs. Centeno's Landscaping tends the yards under that light — mowing and edging on a set rhythm, hedges trimmed, roses and shrubs pruned, new plants set in with mulch banked around the collar. Winter rain does most of the watering out here; summer needs the hose and a careful eye on which corners bake. Cleanups take the beds down to fresh soil, and everything cut leaves with the crew. Each route ends the same way, with a slow walk of the property and one last look from the street.
