About From the Ground up Lawn Care and Landscaping

A new lot on the Fair Oaks Ranch side begins as scraped dirt, decomposed granite and a stake with a number on it, and it stays blank until somebody decides otherwise. From the Ground up Lawn Care and Landscaping exists for that moment: soil prep and grading, planting, sod and lawn installation, then mowing, edging, trimming, weed control and cleanups to carry it forward. Starting with bare ground has one great advantage — the drainage, the soil and the irrigation all go where they belong before anything green covers them up. Then comes the first cut on a new lawn, and the yard quietly stops being a project. After that it is only upkeep, which is the easy and satisfying half.
