Reyes Garden Service

About Reyes Garden Service

Saturday morning on the Westside: a radio through a screen door, a lemon tree leaning over a fence and dropping fruit onto the strip of lawn below. Reyes Garden Service moves house to house through blocks like these, cutting grass, trimming along fences and walkways, and clearing the yard of whatever the week left behind. These are compact front lawns, the kind measured in strides, and they reward being handled with care instead of speed. By the time the fog has pulled back off the harbor the mower is loaded and the street reads as one long row of even, trimmed yards.
