About GLS Companies

Along Hollister Avenue the business-park lawns wake before anyone parks on them — sprinklers ticking, egrets lifting off the Goleta Slough, the first small plane climbing out over the water. Commercial ground gets judged from a moving car, which means the edge at the curb has to be right every single week. GLS Companies mows, edges and trims these lawns through Santa Barbara and hauls the clippings clear of the walks and lots. Wide frontages reward a straight, consistent grain of cut and a border that never wanders. By the time the workday starts, the green out front is the tidiest thing on the street.
