About Down To Earth Landscapes, Inc.

After the winter rains, Mission Creek runs loud through its canyon and every slope above Santa Barbara goes green at once. Down To Earth Landscapes, Inc. works that season of plenty and the dry months that follow — mowing and trimming through the surge, then cleanups, pruning, and steady care as the hills fade to their summer tan. Canyon properties are all slope and shade and stone, and keeping them groomed takes a feel for how ground actually behaves. The name is the method: boots on the soil, hands in the beds, attention on what the land is doing right now. When the creek quiets in summer, the gardens it left behind are still holding their green.
