About Canseco Landscape

In May the marine layer parks over the Eastern Goleta Valley like a gray felt roof, and lawns drink the cool air all morning long. Canseco Landscape starts under that overcast — first cuts of the day made in soft, shadowless light that shows every line the mower leaves. By noon the gloom peels back to hard blue and the Santa Ynez ridge steps forward, and the crew is on to trimming, weeding, and blowing walkways clean. The valley's yards run from tight suburban lawns to older gardens under fruit trees, and the rounds cover them all. When the overcast slides back at dusk, it finds grass already squared away.
