About Victory Gardens Landscaping

A few blocks off Fourth Street, in the old grid that grew up around the Mission, the lots are narrow and the lawns are the size of a good rug. Victory Gardens Landscaping treats them accordingly: mowed in careful lengths, edged tight to the concrete, every clipping gathered instead of blown into a neighbor's doorway. Downtown San Rafael keeps its own hours — the mornings are shaded by the hill, the middays are bright and hot, and October gives back a stretch of perfect working weather before the first rain. Small yards leave nowhere for sloppiness to hide, which makes finishing one properly its own reward. Come back a week later and the line along the sidewalk should still be exactly where it was left.
