About Western Outdoor Design & Build

Head out Questhaven Road toward the Elfin Forest and San Marcos turns wild fast — sage, buckwheat, chaparral going silver at dusk, the canyon holding the heat long after the sun is gone. Western Outdoor Design & Build works the homes on that edge, where a mowed lawn is a deliberate green room carved out of dry country. Cutting to height, edging the boundary between the tended and the untended, trimming back the growth that leans in from the margins, clearing brush and clippings out and away from the house. Summer evenings are the good hours here, cool enough to work and quiet enough to hear the blower echo off the hill. Leaving a property crisp on that boundary line is a particular pleasure, and it is the reason to come back next week.
