San Marcos Creek runs low and stony most of the year, then remembers itself for a few weeks each winter and comes through the willows with real force. Stonebrook Landscapes works the yards on either side of that drainage, in the season when everything along the water is suddenly green and everything on the hills above still is not. The routine holds: mowing on schedule, edges cut firm so the lawn stops exactly where it should, trimming along fences and stone borders, weeds out of the beds, walks blown clear at the end. Spring here is short and generous — rain, then warmth, then an explosion of growth that rewards anyone who was already showing up. A yard kept through that stretch looks settled the rest of the year.
