Sterling Land Care

About Sterling Land Care

Late August in San Marcos, the light off Knob Hill goes flat and white by eleven and the chaparral on the ridges smells like hot resin. Sterling Land Care starts early on those days, working the shade side of the street first — mowing, edging the beds and drives, trimming back the growth crowding the front walk, then clearing the cuttings before the heat makes anyone slow. Lawns push hard through a dry Southern California summer if they are cut regularly and never scalped, so the blade stays high and the rhythm stays weekly. Come the cooler months, the same yards green up on their own and only need holding steady. What lasts is the look of a place that has clearly been kept: even turf, clean lines, nothing shaggy at the margins.
