About Ruby Turf Direct

Late in the day the water at Lake San Marcos goes flat and coppery, and the lawns that run down toward it hold the last of the light longer than anything else in the neighborhood. Ruby Turf Direct works those evening-lit yards — mowing on a steady weekly turn, edging the borders so the line reads clean from the sidewalk, trimming close around palms and posts and the base of every fence. Grass this close to the water grows year-round in the mild coastal air, which is a gift and also a standing appointment. Weeds get pulled before they flower; hedges get taken back before they crowd the path; the walk gets blown down last, always. A lawn kept on rhythm never has a dramatic before-and-after, and that is exactly the point.
