About 805 West Inc

Laguna Lake goes silver before six, and the west side of San Luis Obispo wakes up under a marine layer that will be gone by ten. That is the hour 805 West Inc likes best for mowing — grass still cool, the blades cutting clean, the smell of cut lawn rising off a yard nobody has walked on yet. Edging along a Madonna Road driveway, they take the line straight and keep it straight, because a crisp edge is the thing a homeowner notices from the car. By afternoon the fog has pulled back past Cerro San Luis and the yard sits green and squared away in full valley sun. It is lawn care, plainly done, on a stretch of coast that grows grass eleven months of the year.
