Echo Landscape

About Echo Landscape

Sound carries in San Lorenzo Village — a mower starting up on a Saturday morning travels the length of a block, and by ten the whole neighborhood smells like cut grass. Echo Landscape belongs to that morning chorus. The crew moves through lawns laid out on the postwar grid, mowing, edging, and shaping shrubs so each small front yard reads clean from the sidewalk. Summer here means bay wind by afternoon, so the early hours are the good ones, when the light is soft and the clippings fall straight. What's left behind is simple: straight lines, sharp corners, a lawn that looks finished.
