About Tony Roman Landscaping

When the marquee at the Bal lights up on East 14th, our day has been over for hours — this work belongs to the morning. We start early on the blocks either side of the avenue, mowing to an even height, edging where turf runs up against sidewalk and drive, trimming the corners a mower will never reach. Weeds get handled before they set seed, fertilizer goes down when the grass is genuinely growing, and the clippings leave with us. In autumn we take the leaves off; in the wet months we aerate and overseed so spring starts thick. Drive that stretch at dusk and the front lawns still hold their lines.
