About Pablo’s Construction and Landscaping Inc.

Saturday morning near Burrell Field there is always somebody warming up on the grass, and the neighborhood around it wakes up slowly. We are usually a street or two over by then, mower running, taking a front lawn down to an even height and putting a straight edge on the walk. The visits are simple and repeated: cut, edge, trim, knock back the weeds, clear the clippings off the concrete. Seasonally we feed the turf, aerate ground that has gone hard underfoot, and overseed wherever it has thinned; in autumn we keep after the leaves until the last of them are gone. A yard kept on a rhythm never has to be rescued.
