West San Jose wakes under fog that spills over the Santa Cruz Mountains and settles along the Stevens Creek corridor before burning off by nine. Grass cut in that cool grey hour comes up clean, and the day's first yard is finished before the sun has any opinion about it. Tree Service Cupertino works these flat, tree-lined streets with mower and trimmer, taking lawns down evenly and running a crisp edge where turf meets concrete. There is a plain pride in the last pass — the one that leaves the whole lawn reading in a single direction. By the time the fog lifts, the yard looks like someone loved it on purpose.
