About Rios Gardening

There is still farmland inside the city at Emma Prusch Farm Park, a few rows of fruit trees off Story Road standing where the whole valley once looked like that. Rios Gardening works the neighborhoods around it in something like the same spirit — hands in the beds, weeds taken out by the root, hedges shaped, lawns mowed and edged on a rhythm you could set a week by. Spring brings everything up at once, and the answer is to come more often rather than to cut harder. Clippings and prunings leave with the truck, and the yard is handed back ready to be sat in. Gardening is a long conversation with a piece of ground, and it goes better when someone keeps up their end.
