Heavenly Greens

About Heavenly Greens

Spring lays poppies and lupine across the Santa Teresa ridge for a few short weeks, and the neighborhoods below it green up all at once. Heavenly Greens mows those yards off Bernal and Snell, edging along the wide sidewalks, trimming shrubs back where they crowd the front windows. The lawns get fed, aerated, and overseeded wherever the winter sun never quite reached, with weeds pulled before anything can flower. Once the hills turn tawny in May, the schedule shifts to holding color through a summer that will not rain again until November. By then every kept lawn on the block is doing the work the hillside gave up on.
