About Green Foliage Unlimited, Inc.

When an atmospheric river parks itself over the Santa Cruz Mountains, the campuses along North First empty out and the lawns take everything the sky sends. Green Foliage Unlimited works commercial grounds like those and the homes around them — mowing, edging, hedge and shrub trimming, weed control, feeding and aerating turf that has to look the same in February as it does in September. Landscape work at this scale is mostly planning: drainage that can carry a storm, beds cleared before the wind, cut heights adjusted as the daylight shortens. The valley hands out about five wet months and seven dry ones, and a lawn either budgets for that or gives up in July. Green is a schedule here, not a color.
