Winter rain turns the hills above Penitencia Creek green almost overnight, and the yards on the north side of San Jose follow within the week. D & I Landscape meets that surge — mowing on schedule, edging, cutting back whatever the rain sent sideways, beds cleaned, clippings gone. Toward Berryessa and the Milpitas line the lots run generous, so the mowing is real work and the finish still has to come out even. Later in the year the same yards go quiet and dry and ask for a different pace entirely. Both halves of the calendar get the same attention.
