About MADAGA SERVICES LLC

The southeast corner of the city gets the sun the rest of San Francisco is always waiting on, and mornings over Islais Creek come in clear, flat and warm. MADAGA SERVICES LLC mows and maintains lawns through the Bayview and up the slopes toward Hunters Point, where yards run wide and the light stays late into the evening. Work starts early — trimmer, mower, blower — and the sound of it moves down the block ahead of the Third Street trains. There is real satisfaction in a lawn brought back from shaggy to level inside an hour, the last pass laid down in one long unbroken stripe. Winter rain makes the grass ambitious out here, so the schedule tightens and the blade gets sharpened more often.
