Dirty Hoe Landscaping

About Dirty Hoe Landscaping

September is the Mission's hottest month, and the soil in a raised bed there will hold that heat right through the evening. Dirty Hoe Landscaping meets it head-on: beds weeded down to clean earth, mulch worked in, hedges and shrubs cut back, lawns mowed and edged, and the season's cleanup hauled off before dark. Between the sun trap of the flats and the shade of the hills there are a dozen small climates inside a few blocks, and what a garden needs changes with each one. Nothing complicated about the pleasure of turned soil and a border cut straight — it is simply the good part of the job. Lawn and garden care through the Mission and across San Francisco.
