Valley Crest Landscape Maintenance

About Valley Crest Landscape Maintenance

By late afternoon the light coming down off the San Gabriel foothills turns the color of dry grass, and that is usually when Valley Crest Landscape Maintenance is finishing the last yard of the day in San Fernando. When the Santa Anas come through in October they drag leaves and grit across every lawn between the Mission's olive trees and Sierra Highway, so cleanup here is a wind season rather than a snow one, and it comes around fast. The work itself is plain and exact: mow, edge, trim the shrubs back into shape, clear the walks, carry off what is left. Come February the rains push everything upward at once, and keeping a lawn even through that green surge takes a regular return, not a single visit. What they are after is the look of a yard that somebody watches over — square corners, a level cut, nothing scattered on the driveway at dusk.
