About Triumph Hardscaping & Landscaping Design

Half of Solana Beach is built on a tilt, the streets stepping up from the ocean toward the eastern hills, and every yard on that grade has to solve the same problem. Triumph Hardscaping & Landscaping Design solves it with terraces, building retaining walls and stone steps that turn a slope into usable ground, then setting a level lawn on top where there was only a hillside before. Autumn is good building season here, warm and clear before the winter rains test the drainage behind every wall. Planting and design follow the structure, beds shaped to the terraces, then mowing and edging to keep the new lawn crisp against the stone. A hill that a family can walk out onto and sit down on is worth all the digging it took.
