Santa Ana weeks turn Clairemont bone-dry — the wind comes down over Tecolote Canyon, the air goes glass-clear, and Mission Bay sits blue and hard-edged below Bay Park. Lawnco works right through it: mowing a touch higher when the heat is on, edging the driveways clean, trimming the banks that fall away toward the canyon, and clearing out the blown-in leaves and bark. Hillside lawns here are half staircase, and the mower goes where the mower must. When the wind lies down at dusk, the yards look calm again. There is real satisfaction in that turnaround.
