About A&J's la Palma

At first light the long shadows of trees and fence posts stripe the yards of San Diego like lines nobody bothered to draw. A&J's la Palma starts the day in that light, mowing while the air is still cool enough to work fast. Grass swings between the straw of the dry months and the deep green that follows the first real rains, and each of those moods wants a slightly different cut. Either way the finish is the same — level across the yard, a firm edge at the walk, the drive cleared before leaving. A neat lawn under a row of trees is a plain thing done properly, and it looks it.
