Gil's Maintenance

About Gil's Maintenance

The best thing about a standing route is that a street starts to expect you. Gil's Maintenance runs the lawns along Golden Avenue and the little grid above it on a rhythm — mow, edge, trim, clear, on to the next gate — so no yard ever gets far enough ahead to become a project. October brings the dry wind down off the ridges, and half the work becomes chasing leaves and litter out of the corners before they pile against the fence. There is real satisfaction in a place that never looks neglected because someone quietly shows up on the same day every week. Come back a month later and the lawn still has its shape, its edge, its clean border along the drive.
