About Glen's Landscaping & Lighting

There is a moment most evenings in San Clemente when the sun drops past the water, Catalina goes to a flat blue cutout on the horizon, and a yard either disappears or comes into its own. Glen's Landscaping & Lighting works for the second outcome: low-voltage fixtures set to graze a stucco wall, a path lit just enough to walk without thinking, an olive or a queen palm brought up out of the dark from below. Daylight hours go to the ordinary care that makes the night view worth having — mowing, trimming, pruning, planting the beds that the lamps will later find. Salt gets into fittings near the coast, so lenses get cleaned and connections get checked rather than left to weather. A garden that reads well at nine at night is a garden somebody thought about twice.
