About DCR Landscaping

Late May along Highland Avenue, the jacarandas let go all at once and the streets take on a purple that lasts about two weeks and then is gone for a year. DCR Landscaping mows through the confetti and keeps going — blossoms swept off the walk, edges recut, beds cleared, the lawn brought back to a level plane of green. Shrubs get shaped before summer sets in, sprinklers get tested head by head, and the season's fallen mess leaves on the truck. The city changes color four or five times a year if you are paying attention, and a maintained yard keeps its footing through every one of them. That steadiness is the point: same crew, same day, same clean result.
