Correa's Lawn Mower Services

About Correa's Lawn Mower Services

A San Bernardino Saturday down around Mill Street has a soundtrack: an engine catching on the second pull, the drop in pitch when the blade bites into thick grass, then the long even hum of somebody who knows where the next pass goes. Correa's Lawn Mower Services lives inside that sound — mowing and edging yards, and keeping the machines that do it running the way they should. Blades get sharpened so the grass is cut instead of torn, decks get cleared, and a mower that has been sulking in a garage gets talked back into service. Out in the yard the rest follows: trimming along fences, a clean edge at the walk, clippings gathered and gone. It is work measured in small mechanical satisfactions, and in lawns that look sharper for it.
