About Dig Your Garden Landscape Design

Morning fog slides over Bald Hill and settles into the Ross Valley, and by ten it burns away to the particular blue that San Anselmo gardens are grown for. Dig Your Garden Landscape Design shapes outdoor spaces in this Marin town — planting beds composed like sentences, lawns kept trim as a margin, borders that hold their form through the long dry summer. The work begins with looking: where the light falls, where the cool air pools in a corner, what a coast live oak will and will not allow beneath it. Then comes the planting, the pruning, the patient editing that turns a yard into a place you go on purpose. Gardens here get two gifts — winter rain and summer light — and the design's job is to catch both.
