About Zelaya's Landscaping Inc.

The first real rain of autumn comes down over the hills north toward Prunedale, and within a week the brown slopes above Salinas have gone green again like nothing ever dried out. Zelaya's Landscaping Inc. reads that turn and picks the pace back up: weekly mowing, edging cut clean, hedges tightened, and cleanups that take away the whole summer's worth of drop. Grass coming out of the dry months wants a careful first cut, not a shave, and it thickens fast when it gets one. Beds get weeded while the soil is still soft enough to give. By the time the hills are fully green, the yard has caught up to them.
