About South Bay Tree Care, Inc.

North of Salinas the valley floor gives way to Prunedale's rolling oak country, strawberry fields on one side and the salt-marsh air of Elkhorn Slough drifting in from the other. South Bay Tree Care, Inc. keeps the trees along those roads in order — trimming for clearance over driveways and rooflines, pruning out crossing limbs and the deadwood a coastal summer leaves behind. Eucalyptus and pine get the attention they need on windy ground, and when one has to come out entirely it comes out completely, stem and brush together. Cleanup after a storm runs through the wet months, when a saturated slope and a good gust are all it takes to lay a tree across a lane. The best part is the quiet once the chipper stops: a clear drive, a tidy line of trees, and nothing left to trip over.
